A Festschriftin honor of Elizabeth Struthers Malbon, Professor Emerita in the Department of Religion and Culture, was published by Bloomsbury Publishing (London, 2018). Let the Reader Understand: Essays in Honor of Elizabeth Struthers Malbon was edited by Edwin Broadhead; it includes an introduction with tributes to Malbon for her contribution to biblical studies; 22 chapters that engage themes from her works, particularly the Gospel of Mark; and a conclusion by the editor. A presentation of the volume took place at the annual meetings of the Society of Biblical Literature on November 19, 2017.
