Maham Khan is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Adult Development and Aging area at VT. Her research interests focus on improving care approaches for older adults with disabilities (cognitive and physical) that receive insufficient health care for basic and instrumental activities of daily living. She is also working on strategies for better health care provision for older adults with dementia, in the Engagement Lab at the Engagement Center for Creative Aging (ECCA), Adult Day Services, VT. Futuristically, she is interested in the role of technological advancements in the cognitive abilities of older adults with dementia.
