Kassidy is a first-year Masters to Ph.D. student in the HDFS department focusing on Child and Adolescent Development. Before attending Virginia Tech, she obtained her bachelor's in Honors from Hunter College in Developmental Psychology with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. Her research interests are Child social emotional development, parent-child interactions, and sexuality studies, all in the context of minority stress.
