Marie Stettler Kleine, a doctoral student in Science, Technology, and Science, was awarded a $25,000 dissertation completion fellowship from the Lake Institute on Faith & Giving at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy

This doctoral dissertation fellowship, awarded to only one individual each year, is given to a graduate student whose research engages and intersects issues within religion and philanthropy or faith and giving.

The award will allow Kleine to complete her ethnographic dissertation on religious and secular values in “engineering for good” programs (e.g., humanitarian engineering).
