Parallel Histories

CEUTTSS has been partnering since 2022 with the UK and European based educational group Parallel Histories. This group has been active in the UK and various European countries since 2017 and seeks to provide resources for secondary school history teachers on modern day issues and leaders in Europe. A dual-perspective narrative of the issue/leader is the focus of the program, with the intent to provide students with primary source documents and a structure to look at both sides of controversial issues and figures in an effort to understand the nuances of the modern world. The US editorial board is led by CEUTTSS Assistant Director of K12 Education and Outreach Colin Baker, who is the US Editor, and involves a team of 4-6 history teachers throughout the US.
