Natalie Seppi, a 2019 Virginia Tech graduate in national security and foreign affairs, participated in the Diplomacy Lab in the spring of 2019, presenting her team’s research on the recruitment and operationalization of women by Boko Haram and the Islamic State to the U.S. State Department’s Secretary’s Office of Global Women’s Issues.

Tea served as a policy research and communications intern for the United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Integration Studies in Bruges, Belgium. She’s now pursuing graduate studies in International Relations at The Johns Hopkins University – Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies.
