Through the lens of South Korea, the webinar examined how the United States military’s presence and spending impacted and formed the modern global economy. 

Allan Lumba, an assistant professor of history at Virginia Tech, hosted the webinar. 

Patrick Chung, an assistant professor in the Department of History at the University of Maryland, College Park, led the discussion.
