Jordan Rosin, an instructor in the School of Performing Arts, was invited to perform with his online Playback Theatre company, Playback for Playbackers, for an audience of schoolteachers and administrators in Nigeria on August 29, as well as at the 1st Annual South Asian Playback Theatre Conference on August 30 and the European Playback Theatre Gathering on September 6.

In the applied theatre tradition of Playback Theatre, the improvisational performances were based on stories told live by the audience.

In addition, Rosin received a Network of Ensemble Theaters Remote Connections Grant, which supported a virtual masterclass by Damilola Apotieri, Founder and CEO of Playback Nigeria, for The Ume Group Playback Ensemble, another of Rosin’s professional online Playback companies, on August 16.
