This virtual panel on Wednesday on March 20th at 5 p.m. EST will feature four foreign policy experts discussing how the Israel-Hamas conflict is reshaping geopolitics and America’s role in the world. Panelists include:  Kelly Shannon, Associate Professor of History and the Chastain-Johnston Middle Eastern Studies Distinguished Professor of Peace Studies at Florida Atlantic University; Geoffrey P. Levin, Assistant Professor of Middle Eastern Studies and Jewish Studies, Emory University; Walter Hixson, Distinguished Professor of History (Retired), The University of Akron; Shaul Mitelpunk, Senior Lecturer in Modern History, Department of History, University of York.  
 
The panel will be co-moderated by Laura Belmonte, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences and Professor of History and Farida Jalalzai, Associate Dean of Global Initiatives and Engagement and Professor of Political Science.
