The Rules
Choose one or all words listed below to define. No dictionary is required. Clever, funny, possibly morose, and creative definitions will rule the day for our faculty judges. Fill out and submit the entry form before noon on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022, and you will be in the running to win a $75 gift certificate for Blacksburg Books.

Why WORDPLAY During Giving Day?
We in the Department of English believe words can be fun. We also believe in our community, whether you are alumni, faculty, staff, friend, or student. And it is this latter crowd we are celebrating during Giving Day 2022. So, when you play WORDPLAY and donate during Giving Day, all the funds raised will go toward our student scholarships.
