Write On!

A monthly writing retreat hosted by the Center for Humanities

Write On! A monthly writing retreat hosted by the Center for Humanities, open to all faculty and students working on humanities-related projects.

Write On! transforms the isolation of academic writing into a supportive, energizing experience that keeps your research and creative work moving forward. Drop in for as much or as little of the session as you can. Bring your project, your laptop, and your commitment to an hour or two of focused work.

  • Write in community, working on your individual projects with supportive accountability

  • Set your own goals for each session and engage in focused writing during two fifty-minute blocks

  • Take advantage of brief breaks to recharge or to connect with scholars across humanities fields whose differing perspectives can spark new insights for your work

  • Whether you're brainstorming an essay, revising a chapter, or crafting a grant proposal, you'll leave with tangible progress

Advance registration is encouraged but not required (knowing the likely attendees will facilitate planning and will allow us to contact you in the event of a location change). Register here: https://forms.office.com/r/MD9rbX6fHn
