On December 8 from 7:30 to 8 p.m., the School of Performing Arts will present a Music on Mondays mini-performance featuring the music of Austrian composer Hugo Wolf (1860 – 1903). (Note: This event has been rescheduled from November 30.)

During the performance, soprano Ariana Wyatt and pianist Richard Masters will explore the colorful, dramatic, and poignant music of Wolf, a composer who revolutionized the art song. Each individual lied (the German word for “song”) offers a world unto itself, bringing the listener into intimate contact with a wide cast of characters.
