What You'll Study
Linguistics is the scientific study of natural language. In the language sciences minor, you will take core courses covering the structure of language and its usage in a variety of disciplines. You will explore the fundamental pieces and social significance of language while also learning how to conduct and evaluate different types of research. Some of our course offerings include:
