Diversity and Inclusion Funding

Departmental Diversity Grants support efforts to build an inclusive and equitable environment in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences at Virginia Tech. Funding ranges from $2,500 to $10,000 and proposals from all departments and schools within the college are accepted.

Diversity mini-grants in amounts of up to $500 are available for schools, departments, and programs seeking supplemental funding for speakers, films, workshops, or other events related to the college’s priorities for inclusion and diversity.

The CLAHS Curriculum Innovation Program is a faculty development and curriculum development program that aims to ensure CLAHS courses contain diverse perspectives and utilize inclusive teaching methods that support the learning of a diverse student body.
