Model European Council

The center is hosting four local high schools for a Model European Council on March 15 and 17. VT has been home to this event since 2019, and this year’s theme is Europe at a Crossroads: the Border Crisis between Poland and Belarus. Approximately 130 students have been placed in groups 4 or 5 students to represent each of the 27 EU member states. These students have been preparing for a month to negotiate and vote on resolutions on behalf of the country they represent.
