Alumni on the Move
The more than 60,000 graduates of the Virginia Tech College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences carry their liberal arts education with them into every calling, community, and corner of the globe.
Our alumni represent more than 30 majors, ranging from creative writing to philosophy, from music to property management, from international public policy to criminology. They also reflect changes at the university over the decades. We have alumni who have graduated from the former colleges of Arts and Sciences; Human Sciences and Education; Human Resources; and Home Economics.
What they share are talent, smarts, a history of achievement, and an instinct for giving, as captured in the university’s motto, Ut Prosim (That I May Serve).
