Erasmus Lecture Series: Illegal Immigration: Consequences for European Integration

On Monday, September 30th, 2024 at 4:00 PM EST the Center welcomes, as part of its Erasmsus Lecture Series, Nikos Zahariadis - Mertie Buckman Chair and Professor of International Studies, Rhodes College. Dr. Zahariadis will discuss "Illegal Immigration: Consequences for European Integration."
Zahariadis teaches courses on International Relations, the European Union, European Politics, Political Propaganda in Film, and The United Nations and American Foreign Policy. Through his work he strives to build bridges between local minds and global hearts based on three principles: innovation, compassion, and engagement. We look forward to sharing in his knowledge and wisdom in this webinar which is free and open to the public.
The event will kick-off with and introduction by Dr. Yannis Stivachtis - CEUTS Director and Jean Monnet Chair, and Professor of Political Science at Virginia Tech. Following the lecture Q&A will be moderated by Chad A. Hankinson - CEUTS Associate Director of Administration and Strategic Planning, and Lecturer in Political Science at Virginia Tech.
