HODA KOTB IS ACCUSTOMED TO SIZABLE AUDIENCES, BUT IN AUGUST 2016, SHE GAINED THE LARGEST OF HER CAREER, AS AN ESTIMATED 30 MILLION VIEWERS WATCHED HER CO-HOST THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE RIO OLYMPICS FOR NBC.
