Alumni on the Move
The nearly 60,000 graduates of the Virginia Tech College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences are carrying their liberal arts education with them into every calling, community, and corner of the globe.
Our alumni represent more than 30 majors, ranging from creative writing to philosophy, from to music and property management, from international public policy to criminology. They also reflect changes at the university over the decades. We have alumni who have graduated from the former colleges of Arts and Sciences; Human Sciences and Education; Human Resources; and Home Economics.
What they share are talent and smarts, a history of achievement and an instinct for giving, as captured in the university’s motto, Ut Prosim (That I May Serve).
