Both Army ROTC and Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets offer outstanding scholarship opportunities. An Army scholarship can cover up to full tuition and fees, uniforms, books, and an additional monthly allowance.

Cody Wendelin, '14

When I arrived at Virginia Tech for my orientation, the Army recruiter asked if I wanted to be a Soldier. I wasn't sure about the army, but to stay in school full-time I knew I would need a scholarship. He told me if I did well my first semester, I could earn one. I trusted him and ended up earning a four-year scholarship, which allowed me to stay at Virginia Tech after my first semester and eventually comission into the U.S. Army.
