Sara Alvos

Research interests: domestic violence; policing; sexuality studies

Bio: Sara is originally from Fairfax, VA and moved to Roanoke, VA after graduating from VT in 2022. She lives there with her wife, two dogs, and ten chickens. Sara enjoys working on DIY projects around the house (and most of them turn out great!), playing trumpet, playing tug and fetch with the dogs, and traveling. Her most recent trip was to Seattle, and before that she traveled to Iceland. Most of all, Sara enjoys hanging out by a fire and catching up with friends.
