PH.D. IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN SOCIETY (expected 2019)
Bono's research interests, in general, reside within engineering studies. They include sociology of engineering work and engineering identity, social studies of engineering technologies, engineering from multicultural perspectives, social and cultural history of engineering, and the teaching of liberal arts, humanities and ethics in the engineering education curriculum. His current research investigates electrical engineering students' experiences in school prior to their employment in Taiwan's high-tech industry.
