Sarah Plummer

Sarah Plummer is a Cultural Studies and Performance Studies scholar interested in the relationship between people and things in the shifting context of place with a special interest in art objects, memory objects, and public history places. Sarah is a postdoctoral associate funded by The Mellon Foundation in the Department of Religion and Culture. She teaches in the Appalachian Studies Program and is a member of the Monuments Across Appalachian Virginia leadership team.
