Alexis is an instructor and experiential learning coordinator in the Department of Human Development and Family Science at Virginia Tech. Alexis received her Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Science from Virginia Tech in 2014 and her Master's of Science in Occupational Therapy from James Madison University in 2016. Prior to joining Virginia Tech, Alexis worked in the New River Valley as an occupational therapist specializing in oncology rehabilitation, lymphedema therapy, and pelvic floor therapy/Women's Health. 

Alexis oversees experiential learning for the department including field study, service learning, and career/professional development.
