Tyler A. Saunders is an Instructor of English. His teaching and research focuses on the ways in which writing, rhetoric, and literature open up and address the questions and issues of the meaning of human life and living in connection with other humans and nonhuman animals. In addition to animal studies, his other interests include horror films, metal music, and Postmodern American literature. He holds an MA in English from Virginia Tech and a BA in English from Appalachian State University. Tyler teaches ENGL 1105 and 1106.
