Barrow Jr., professor of history in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences, sharing such pedagogical innovations led to his being named the winner of the 2023 Teaching Scholar Award for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. The award is presented every three years to a faculty member who pursues scholarship addressing teaching and learning in higher education.
