The College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences is pleased to announce the launching of the Food Studies Program.

The program facilitates teaching, interdisciplinary research, and community engagement to promote understanding of food consumption and production within historical, social, and ethical contexts; it serves as a space for collaboration and for bringing together disparate projects related to food from around Virginia Tech and the region. 

Anna Zeide, associate professor in the Department of History, is the founding director of the program.
