David Delgado López is a Collegiate Assistant Professor of Spanish at the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures at Virginia Tech. He obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Kentucky in 2019. His research explores Iberian cultural production, particularly Spanish contemporary poetry, through the lens of space analysis and ecocriticism focusing on the representation of working-class voices and the deconstruction of the traditional canon. In the past, he has published on Spanish contemporary poetry and novel. At this moment, Delgado is working on several projects based on the study of ecocritical and ecopedagogical theories.
