Mark Armstrong

Mark Armstrong is a senior instructor in the Department of English. He has made numerous contributions to Virginia Tech since joining the university in 1995. During his career, he has helped develop the professional writing program within the English Department, including a grant writing course.

Armstrong has earned several awards, including a university service award for teaching medical writing in Tanzania, a teaching award in the English department, and a university technology award for helping to create the online technical writing course.
