Master of Arts in History
The M.A. includes 33 hours of coursework in historical methodology, a broad range of chronological and geographical history, and courses in related fields.
Prepare yourself to interpret the past for the public through work in museums, archives, government, and consulting with this M.A. specialization or 12-hour graduate certificate.
Students interested in teaching at the secondary school level should consider dual enrollment in the M.A. in History concurrently with the M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction and state licensure in Social Studies Education. You can earn two masters and certification in just three years.
