“Locke on the Demonstrability of Morality,” forthcoming in Religion in the Age of Enlightenment
My primary area of research is in early modern philosophy, and my recent research has focused mostly on Locke’s epistemology. In particular, I’m interested in Locke’s account of how we have knowledge of objects and their properties. I also have ongoing projects in early modern metaphysics, including on Descartes and (separately) Locke on the laws of nature.
I also do research in philosophy of religion. Some of this is historical, but in addition I am working on contemporary debates concerning divine foreknowledge and human freedom, as well as the tension between divine justice and hell. for more information please check personal website.
