ASPECT Receives Funding to Create Doctoral Fellowship
ASPECT is delighted to announce that it has received a generous donation to create an endowed fellowship to support doctoral research and scholarship related to theoretical investigations of environmental concerns. This fellowship is intended to benefit and enhance ASPECT doctoral student research that exhibits a commitment to the application of various critical theories, theories of institutional change, or more traditional theoretical approaches and methods from history, philosophy, political science, and religion and culture relevant to the study of environmental issues, broadly defined. An ASPECT Doctoral Fellowship will be awarded each year to a full-time doctoral student enrolled in the ASPECT PhD program whose research is in line with the objectives and spirit of this fellowship. The first ASPECT Doctoral Fellow is expected to be named in Fall 2016.
The Call for Applications for the ASPECT Doctoral Fellowship is available here. The deadline for submissions of application materials is August 15, 2016.
